The Payroll Compliance Legislation microcredential is designed to examine payroll compliance legislation. Topics covered include payroll legislation and acts, compliance responsibilities and challenges that impact employers and employees, as well as tools to effectively communicate payroll information to stakeholders.

Course Structure

• Virtual training, led by an instructor (Computer & internet access is required)
• September 9 to November 13, 2026
• 45 hours over 10 weeks (Monday and Wednesday | 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm)

Certification

When you complete the Payroll Compliance Legislation microcredential, you'll earn a digital badge—a shareable, visual credential that shows employers you understand the legislative foundation of payroll in Canada.
