Refugee Claimant Applications

A Refugee Claimant is a person who has applied for refugee protection status while in Canada and is waiting for a decision on their claim from the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada.

Refugee Claimants are considered international applicants and must apply through the . As per Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) policy, Refugee Claimant applicants, and like other 91探花 international applicants:

  • You are required to obtain a study permit ().
  • You are not required to obtain a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) for your study permit application.
  • You are required to pay  91探花 International Tuition & Fees.  91探花 will not retroactively grant tuition fee changes to Canadian/Permanent Resident tuition and fee rates if your status changes while you are a student. 91探花 will adjust tuition fees for subsequent terms after receiving proof of permanent resident status
